Article 1. Purpose
These Terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Operator and users, and the procedures for use, when using Dasom (us.or.kr, the “Service”) provided by 고현서 (the “Operator”).
Article 2. Operator and contact
The Service is run by an individual operator, 고현서.
Questions about use, complaints, objections and requests about personal information are received at hsgoh@axiommathlab.kr.
Article 3. Definitions
“User” means a person who signs up for and uses the Service under these Terms.
“Account” means the Dasom membership information that identifies a user, and “sign-in method” means a Google or Kakao account linked to the account.
“Link” means one user accepting an invite sent by another user, so that the two accounts share the same dates.
“Partner” means the one other user who is linked with a user.
“Shared information” means information visible to both linked people: the day you met, days added by either person, birthdays, the nicknames you call each other, and turning the fixed holidays on or off.
“Personal settings” means settings that apply only to one user: notification timings and times, reminders set for an individual day, whether to be notified for each day, the wording shown in notifications, the day pinned to the home screen, whether device notifications are on, and the display language.
“Entered content” means what a user enters into the Service directly, such as titles of days, dates, names and nicknames.
Article 4. Posting and changes to these Terms
The Operator posts these Terms on this page, which is linked from the About, sign-in and Settings screens, and makes past versions available in the revision history.
The Operator may change these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions (약관의 규제에 관한 법률).
When changing these Terms, the Operator announces the effective date and what is changing and why on this page from 7 days before the change takes effect. Changes unfavorable to users are announced from 30 days before they take effect and are also notified separately by the method in Article 12.
If a user does not agree to the changed Terms, the user may leave at any time, before or after the effective date.
Article 5. Sign-up
Only people aged 14 or older may sign up.
You sign up with your own Google or Kakao account after reviewing these Terms and the Privacy Policy on the sign-in screen. Signing up forms a service agreement under these Terms.
If someone signs up using another person’s account or with false information, the Operator may refuse the sign-up or restrict use.
Article 6. Account management
Users may link both Google and Kakao sign-in methods to one account. “Disconnect” for a sign-in method removes only that sign-in method; the account and dates remain.
Users manage the accounts of their sign-in methods and their devices. If you suspect someone else is using your account, please tell the Operator right away. The Operator will help you check and guide you on the necessary steps.
Article 7. Linking two people
Users may invite a partner with an invite code or invite link. An invite code can be used for 24 hours after it is created.
An account can be linked with only one person at a time.
When a user who has been using the Service alone receives an invite, they can check, before accepting, the day-you-met date that will be counted together and the days they will bring along.
How shared information is handled when one person leaves follows the Privacy Policy.
Article 8. The Service
The Operator provides the following features free of charge.
Showing days together, counting the day you met as day 1, and date calculation (which day number a given date is, and when a given day number falls)
10-day, 50-day and 100-day milestones counted from the day you met, and yearly anniversaries
Showing seven fixed holidays (New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, White Day, Pepero Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve) and turning them on or off
Managing the birthdays both people added (with the birthday’s number and age if a birth year is entered) and the days they added themselves, and undoing a deleted day within 10 minutes
Viewing upcoming days, and the days of the year ahead grouped by month
Notifications at the timings the user chose and the time set for each timing, and choosing the wording shown in notifications
Dates are counted by the solar (Gregorian) calendar and Korea Standard Time. A date that does not occur every year, such as February 29, is counted as February 28 in common years.
Article 9. Notifications
Notifications are sent only if the user has allowed notifications on the device and turned them on in the Service. Dates to be notified on the same day at the same time are bundled into one notification.
Notifications may be late or not arrive depending on device permissions and power-saving settings, operating system and browser policies, and network conditions. For days you must not miss, please also use other means.
Notifications already sent cannot be recalled. If a date changed after a notification was sent, you can check the latest information in the app.
Article 10. Shared information and entered content
Two linked people see the shared information together, and both may add, edit and delete dates. Changes appear on both people’s screens.
Each person adds their own birthday. Users do not enter information about their partner without the partner’s consent.
Rights in and responsibility for entered content belong to the user who entered it. The Operator uses entered content only to the extent needed to provide the Service, such as storing it, showing it to both people and sending it in notifications, and does not use it for other purposes or make it public.
Article 11. Protection of personal information
The Operator protects users’ personal information in accordance with applicable laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act (개인정보 보호법). What information is processed, why, and when it is deleted are governed by the Privacy Policy.
Article 12. Notices to users
Notices for all users are given by posting them on this page or on the service screens.
Notices for an individual user, and changes unfavorable to users, are given separately by email to the address registered with the sign-in method or by a notice on the service screens. If email cannot be received, posting on the service screens for 7 days or more may take its place.
Article 13. Changes, suspension and termination of the Service
The Operator may change features to improve the Service. If a major feature users have been using is removed, the Operator gives notice in advance by the same periods as in Article 4.
The Operator may temporarily suspend the Service when needed for maintenance, equipment replacement, incident response and the like, and will give notice in advance. If advance notice is not possible, notice will be given afterward.
If the Service must end, the Operator gives notice from 30 days before. During that time, users can check their date information and, on request to the Operator, receive a copy of it as an electronic file.
Article 14. Fees
Sign-up, date sharing and anniversary notifications are free. If paid features are introduced in the future, the Operator will announce the fees and conditions in advance and apply them only to users who separately sign up for them.
Article 15. User obligations
Users must not do the following.
Using another person’s account or acting as if they were someone else
Entering content that violates the law or infringes the rights of others
Interfering with the normal operation of the Service, or accessing the Service by automated means without permission
Article 16. Leaving and restrictions on use
Users may leave at any time with “Delete account” in Settings, and the Operator processes it on the spot.
If a user violates Article 15, the Operator may take graduated measures, from a warning up to restricting use, depending on the seriousness of the violation. Before taking a measure, the Operator gives the reason and duration by the method in Article 12 and offers an opportunity to respond. In urgent cases, to protect other users’ rights, the Operator may act first and give notice immediately.
Users may object to a measure, and the Operator informs them of the outcome of its review within 10 days of receiving the objection.
Article 17. Ownership of rights
Rights in the Service’s name, logo, screen design and software belong to the Operator. Users have the right to use the Service under these Terms.
Rights in entered content belong to users under Article 10.
Article 18. Liability
If the Operator or a user causes damage to the other party through their own intent or negligence, they are liable under applicable law.
Even where the Service is difficult to use because of natural disasters or failures of communication networks or users’ devices, the Operator is liable to the extent that it is at fault.
Article 19. Dispute resolution and governing law
The Operator reviews questions about use, complaints and objections received at the contact in Article 2 and replies with the outcome.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute will be resolved in the court that has jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act (민사소송법).
Addendum
These Terms take effect on November 11, 2026, and also apply to users who signed up before that date. Until then, the version of November 4, 2026 applies.
The operator and contact details, account management, how users are notified, privacy protection, and ownership of rights are now set out in separate articles.
The service description now covers the full-year view, date calculation, birthday count and age, nicknames, the notification time for each timing, and undoing a deleted day.
If the service ends, users can receive a copy of their own date information, and the procedure for restricting use and for notifying the outcome of an objection is set out in detail.
The definition of personal settings now includes the display language and the reminders you can set for each day, both available since November 5, 2026. This was added to this revision on November 5, 2026.
Fees and users’ obligations do not change, and nothing changes to users’ disadvantage.
