Article 1. Purpose
These Terms set out what the Operator and users must observe when using Dasom (us.or.kr), provided by 고현서 (the “Operator”).
Article 2. Definitions
“User” means a person who signs up for and uses the service under these Terms.
“Link” means one user accepting an invite sent by another user, so that the two accounts share the same dates.
“Partner” means the one other user who is linked with a user.
“Shared information” means information visible to both linked people: the day you met, days added by either person, birthdays, the nicknames you call each other, and turning the fixed holidays on or off.
“Personal settings” means settings that apply only to one user: notification timings and times, whether to be notified for each day, and whether device notifications are on.
Article 3. Posting and changes to these Terms
The Operator posts these Terms so that they are easy to see from the service screens.
The Operator may change these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable law. When changing them, the Operator announces what is changing and why from 7 days before the change takes effect, or from 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users.
If a user does not agree to the changed Terms, the user may leave.
Article 4. Sign-up
Only people aged 14 or older may sign up.
You sign up with your own Google or Kakao account after reviewing these Terms and the Privacy Policy on the sign-in screen.
If someone signs up using another person’s account or with false information, the Operator may refuse the sign-up or restrict use.
Article 5. Linking two people
Users may invite a partner with an invite code or invite link. An invite code can be used for 24 hours after it is created.
An account can be linked with only one person at a time.
“Disconnect” for a sign-in account applies only to that sign-in method; the link between the two people remains. How shared information is handled when one person leaves follows the Privacy Policy.
Article 6. The service
The Operator provides the following features.
Showing days together, counting the day you met as day 1
10-day, 50-day and 100-day milestones counted from the day you met, and yearly anniversaries
Showing seven fixed holidays (New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, White Day, Pepero Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve) and turning them on or off
Managing the birthdays both people added and the days they added themselves
Notifications at the timings and times the user chose
Dates are counted by the solar (Gregorian) calendar and Korea Standard Time. A date that does not occur every year, such as February 29, is counted as February 28 in common years.
Article 7. Notifications
Notifications are sent only if the user has allowed notifications on the device and turned them on in the service.
Notifications may be late or not arrive depending on device permissions and power-saving settings, operating system and browser policies, and network conditions. For days you must not miss, please also use other means.
Notifications already sent cannot be recalled. If a date changed after a notification was sent, you can check the latest information in the app.
Article 8. Shared information
Two linked people see the shared information together, and both may add, edit and delete dates. Changes appear on both people’s screens.
Each person adds their own birthday. Users do not enter information about their partner without the partner’s consent.
Rights in and responsibility for content a user enters belong to that user.
Article 9. Changes to and suspension of the service
The Operator may temporarily suspend the service when needed for maintenance, equipment replacement, incident response and the like, and will give notice in advance. If advance notice is not possible, notice will be given afterward.
If the service must end, the Operator will give notice from 30 days before and let users check their date information.
Article 10. Fees
Sign-up, date sharing and anniversary notifications are free. If paid features are introduced in the future, the Operator will announce the fees and conditions in advance and apply them only to users who separately sign up for them.
Article 11. User obligations
Users must not do the following.
Using another person’s account or acting as if they were someone else
Entering content that violates the law or infringes the rights of others
Interfering with the normal operation of the service, or accessing the service by automated means without permission
Article 12. Leaving and restrictions on use
Users may leave at any time in Settings, and the Operator processes this without delay.
If a user violates Article 11, the Operator may restrict use after giving the reason. The user may object to this.
Article 13. Liability
If the Operator or a user causes damage to the other party through their own intent or negligence, they are liable under applicable law.
Even where the service is difficult to use because of natural disasters or failures of communication networks or users’ devices, the Operator is liable to the extent that it is at fault.
Article 14. Dispute resolution
Questions about use, complaints, and objections to restrictions on use may be sent to the Operator, 고현서, by email (hsgoh@axiommathlab.kr). The Operator reviews what it receives and replies with the outcome.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute will be resolved in the court that has jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act (민사소송법).
